Google Business Photos
Google Business Photos is a new premium service provided by trained local photographers, that brings Streetview inside participating businesses.
With a straightforward photo shoot, lasting around 2 hours you can let your customers step inside your business straight from your business listing on Google+ Local, on Google Maps and in search, from Streetview, and your website and social media pages. In addition to the interior Streetview tour, you also get 15 still photos that highlight the best features of your business.

Why should I be interested in this?
Google Business Photos lets you show off your premises, the atmosphere, your products and displays, your achievements, brand and personality. By providing an immersive, high quality Streetview tour of the interior of your business, you can create a valuable piece of marketing collateral. Browsers can explore your shop at their leisure, as if they were actually there - familiarising themselves with it, and with your products.
The Streetview technology behind the interior tour is familiar to the majority of users, and tours are very intuitive - letting them focus on your business, products, and atmosphere - rather than on trying to use an unfamiliar navigation system.
It also enhances your presence on Google+ Local, Google Maps and in search, and provides fresh and interesting content for your social networks. The tour is easily accessible on the majority of devices, now including iPads and iPhones.
What it involves
If you book a photoshoot, I will come to your business at a time that is most convenient for you, and take up to 30 panoramas and 15 still shots, which are used to create the tour of your business, and to enhance your Google profile. This usually takes 1-3 hours depending on the size of the business. The photos are uploaded, and after processing by Google, the photographer assembles the tour and privacy blurs parts of it before publication. If it meets all the required standards, the tour usually goes live within 3-14 days.

FAQs
How much does Google Business Photos cost?The cost is based on the number of panoramas required. Currently I charge from £149 for the smallest premises, up to £599 for a 30 panorama tour.

Please note that the fee must be settled prior to publication unless agreed upon in advance.
If your budget is tight but you would still like to have a tour, you can always opt to go for a smaller tour that shows fewer areas.
The business retains the rights to the images, and there are no ongoing costs - just one flat fee for the photoshoot. Your only requirement is that you have listed your business on Google Places / Google+ Local which is free.
Can I have my business reshot when new product lines come out?You can have your premises reshot with updated imagery any time you wish, for example, if you have a refurbishment, seasonal promotions, new layout or new stock that you want to highlight. Reshoots are charged at a discounted rate.
Can I embed the tour on my website?Yes, it is easy to embed your Google Business Photos tour into any website (as above) using a simple HTML fragment, or onto your Facebook page. I will be happy to offer you guidance on how to do this, should you need any help.
I have my own photographer, can’t I use them instead?Only Google Trusted Photographers are able to offer this service as it requires specialised equipment and training.
How long does a photoshoot take and how quickly can it be processed?Typically the photoshoot takes 1-3 hours depending on the size of the business. Typical turnaround time until the panoramas to go live is usually between 3 and 14 days.
How come I have never heard of Google Business Photos?Google Business Photos was only launched in the UK last year, word is still spreading as feedback from the earlier businesses is coming in.
How can I be sure you're legitimate?You can verify my status as a Google Trusted Photographer by going to the official Google Business Photos page. Click on the Getting Started button (top right), this takes you to the list of Trusted Photographers in the UK.
I would like to have my business shot after dark - is this possible?Yes, please contact me directly for a chat if you are interested in having this done. It can look very nice if shot at the right time.
I would like more still photos than the 15 feature shots provided (to illustrate a menu with food photos for instance), is this possible?Yes, you can order extra stills shots or panoramas at extra cost, as a separate job (independent from the Google Business Photos shoot). Those images / panos would not be placed on Google - although as the business owner you can always upload still photos to your page from your Places Dashboard. Please ask for more details.
